Pick up the new issue of House and Home!

Spring is a time of renewal, change, blossoming and looking forward. This issue we celebrate all of these things, as we do with each March edition of House and Home. As usual, inside this issue, you'll find almost 40 pages of gorgeous real homes. There's a former tenement building in Glasgow, the Dublin home of Orla Kiely's sister Nessa, a seaside retreat in Connemara, and a journalist's home in South Dublin. We hope you enjoy every page of it and find plenty of new ideas for your own homes.

This issue, we also celebrate the life of our colleague and friend Diarmuid O'Connor, whom we sadly lost following a short illness, during the pre-production of this issue. Diarmuid headed up our advertising design department and was the familiar point of contact for many of our clients and suppliers. He was also our office DJ, our in-house practical joker and he enjoyed a good gossip. He loved his home and took great pride in it, so he also held a special affection for House and Home, where he was a designer for almost 17 years. We extend our deepest sympathies to his Mum and Dad, Deirdre and Willie, his sister Christine, adn his brothers John Paul and Brian, as well as his many friends. This issue is dedicated to him.

Finally, this is our editor Dara Flynn's last issue at the head of House and Home after almost five years as she moves on to a new challenge. We will miss her but are excited to welcome Anna Shelswell-White as the new editor. You'll get to meet Anna in our next issue, so keep an eye out!
