My favourite room is my sitting room; I spend most of my time there as it’s open plan and it leads on to the kitchen. Also, the telly is there! It leads nicely from the front to the back of the house so there is plenty of light coming through - says Domini.

Lots of built in shelving means plenty of room for family pics, not to mention a wide selection of books which are the preferred alternative to vegging in front of the television.

Mirror mirror: the detailing in this wooden framed mirror makes it interesting without being in your face. The warm nutty brown is a perfect accompaniment to the soft and relaxing shades throughout the room

Domini is extremely close to her mother and sister, who live nearby and even have their own sets of keys, meaning that Domini often comes home to find both her fridge and wardrobe have been raided!

The room is a combination of different contrasts and different finishes – it’s almost like three rooms joined together with different colours and styles. I can chop and change to use the dark and cosy part or the light, bright part - Says Domini.

The sofa and cushions are an effortless mis-match that sit comfortably side by side with just the right mix of colour and pattern: stripes plus neutral plus pattern are a winning combo.
