London- and Dublin-based neon art label bag&bones are popping up at The Library Project at 4 Temple Bar, Dublin 2 on December 2nd and 3rd.
Pop in to their pop-up to browse their collection of gorgeous bright, bold neon lights complete with special Christmas offers, and enjoy Christmas drinks and nibbles while you're at it.
Getting in on the neon signage trend, Irish sisters, Gigi and Cavanagh Foyle, want to bring together conversational graphics, whimsical text and lyrical slogans to add a cool edge to any interior.
Taking inspiration from many aspects of London and Dublin’s various subcultures, including street art, graffiti, music and urban nightlife, they want to offer "ass-kickin' neon art for the ass-kickin' modern creative'.
"We started bag&bones because of our obsession with neon and our belief that it is a mood enhancing stimulant – turn bag&bones lights on and your world changes for the better!" they say.
Using a combination of flexible neon tubing and light-emitting diodes, their neon lights are lightweight, safe and eco-friendly. They save 70-90% in energy consumption, emit very little heat and because they're not made of glass, there's little risk of breakage.
