Every few weeks, Aldi's Special Buys contain some homeware gems, and the newest release - in stores from May 16th - is no different. Alongside its previous sell-out bean cube footstools, this drop includes some velvet footstools which are likely to sell just as quickly.

It's the little touches that make a house a home, and that's what the latest homeware collection from Aldi is centred around. Centred around making upgrades for the new season at affordable prices, we reckon you'll need to get in early on the 16th to get your pick of the best.

Our favourite pieces from the drop are these velvet footstools - they're just €34.99, and they would add an extra touch of luxury to your room. They will be available in dark blue and grey, as pictured, and also in a light blue shade.

The flat-weave rugs are €19.99 each, and come in plain colours or geometric designs, with and without fringing. They're machine washable and reversible, too!

How handy would this wall shelf be in the kitchen, hallway or bathroom? It's €34.99 and matches in with an iron welly stand that's also on sale (€29.99, not pictured) if you're planning on using it in the hall.

These door stoppers are super sweet, and they're just €8.99.

These are perfect kitchen/diner light shades, and the matte metal finish is very on trend. It comes in cream, charcoal and grey, and are €7.99 each.

Get your gallery wall started with this multipack of frames. For €14.99, you get two extra small, two small, two medium and one large, and the set comes in black, grey or white.

The round nested tables are another thing we see flying out on the 16th - the solid-wood top tables have black powder-coated metal legs, and the small table includes a base shelf. It's €39.99 for the pair. The artificial plant is €14.99 and the geo/velvet cushions are €8.99 each, available in navy blue or teal with foil details.

The above products and more will be available in all 137 Aldi stores nationwide from Thursday, 16th May while stocks last.
