House and Home and Houseandhome.ie is excited to offer an editorial internship to a talented individual who wants to gain experience in the publishing industry. We are looking for a passionate person to join our energetic team, and support the editor, by producing content that people want to read.
Requirements:
- Highly organised; confident, dependable, punctual and resourceful
- Ability to work in an energetic atmosphere and take direction
- Strong communication skills
Handy but not essential:
- A blog/Pinterest board/Instagram that showcases your writing and/or image choices
- Knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign
Things to note:
- This has the flexibility of being a full or part-time (three day week minimum) position
- The successful candidate should be able to commit to a stretch of six months
- This is in no way a tea-making role*
- Expect hands-on training – real experience in the industry
