What's new on Netflix in March 2017 for Ireland

At the beginning of every month, and throughout the month, Netflix adds new films and TV shows to its library, so it's always kept fresh. With awards season coming to a close, our thoughts are turning to what we're supposed to watch now, but Netflix has us covered.

With a whole host of new streamables available on Netflix from March 1st, there's plenty to keep you busy in the evenings and distract you from your real life as you fall into a Netflix hole. Read on to learn about the best of what Netflix is bringing to your screens in March.

Marvel's Iron Fist

A Netflix original series, Marvel's Iron Fist follows billionaire Danny Rand's return to New York City after being missing for years, trying to reconnect with his past and his family legacy. He fights against the criminal element corrupting New York City with his kung-fu mastery and ability to summon the awesome power of the fiery Iron Fist. Available from March 17th.

 

13 Reasons Why

A new series based on the best-selling books by Jay Asher, 13 Reasons Why follows teenager Clay Jensen as he returns home from school to find a mysterious box with his name on it lying on his porch. Inside he discovers cassette tapes recorded by Hannah Baker—his classmate and crush—who tragically committed suicide two weeks earlier. The tapes explain the 13 reasons why she decided to end her life. Available from March 31st.

 

 

Grace and Frankie - Season 3

Grace and Frankie are back for a third series, exploring their unlikely bond following their husbands revealing they're both gay and leaving both women for each other. Available from March 24th.

 

Amy Schumer: The Leather Special

Comedian Amy Schumer is back to Netflix, this time targeting binge-drinking, her relationship with her boyfriend and navigating the unknown terrain of being a newly famous woman who looks like someone you grew up with. Available from March 7th.

 

Greenleaf

A new original drama series from the award-winning writer and producer, Craig Wright who has worked on Six Feet Under, and Lost. The series takes you into the unscrupulous world of the Greenleaf family and their sprawling Memphis megachurch, where scandalous secrets and lies are as numerous as the faithful.

One More Time

This fantasy drama follows an indie band singer who repeatedly undergoes unwanted time slips and the girlfriend he must save from an unlucky fate. Available March 24th.

 

The Most Hated Woman In America

This tells the true story of Madalyn Murray O'Hair, an iconoclast, opportunist and outspoken atheist, from her controversial rise to her untimely demise.

 

Love - Season Two

Writers and producers Judd Apatow and Paul Rust have come back for a second season of Love, which follows nice guy Gus and wild-child Mickey and their relationship, giving you an unflinching, hilarious and excruciatingly honest take on modern relationships. Available from March 10th.

 

Julie's Greenroom

For kids, Julie's Green Room is a new arts educational show for very young children, starring the legendary Julie Andrews. Seven young friends learn about the arts from Julie herself, helped along by guest stars, including Idina Menzel, Alec Baldwin, David Hyde Pierce, in every episode. Available from March 17th.
