This is what reader Amina had to say about her new desk:
After seeing a desk space in House and Home’s Jan/Feb issue I took it upon myself to inform my husband we would be doing one similarly! We visited Victorian Salvage in Dublin and got some really funky reclaimed floor boards which he lightly sanded with an attachment for a drill and only cost €9! Then lightly stained it with a quick dry stain which came up beautifully. The A frames came from Ikea and we are going to be painting them a light satin grey…so watch this space... it has transformed the room and given our computer a home.
