Last week we visited the Mecca of all home interiors trade fairs, Ambiente 2017 in Messe Frankfurt. Here, came together the top industry professionals from all over the world, showcasing their new homewares and interior products for this year. With over four thousand exhibitors from 95 countries, this was Ambiente's biggest trade show to date, and it certainly didn't disappoint.

For marble and rose gold lovers, you're in luck, because it's a trend that's definitely going to carry on through 2017. We couldn't help but squeal in excitement when we spied these gorgeous rose gold and slate serving bowls, and slateĀ cheese board, by Scottish company, The Just Slate Company.

Pretty pastels are going to be everywhere this season. Think blush pink, mint green and lovely lilac. Whether it's crockery, throws or even wall paint, don't be afraid to indulge is this gorgeous trend. We love these bowls from Tokyo Design Studio. They're also available from Amara.com.

Gorgeous glassware. Waterford Crystal have launched their new collection of glassware and it's so elegant, we feel like royalty sipping from them. We were lucky enough to enjoy some delicious cocktails such as a French 75, with the delicious Blackwater gin, made expertly by Mixologist Paul Lambert, of The Blind Pig Speakeasy, Dublin.

Japanese designs. How cute are these bowls from Maxwell & Williams? We absolutely love their Japanese design and vibrant colours. It seems Japan are upping their game on the home interior front and we can't wait to see more of these style design hit Irish stores.

Practicality; Finally, we're seeing some really stylish, practical homewares coming to the market. How amazing is this spirilizer from Kilner? I actually got to test this bad boy out, and I can assure you, it's so easy to use. Dinner time just got a whole lot healthier! Joseph Joseph are renowned for solving our culinary problems in the most stylish way possible, and now they're focusing on waste. Their new waste disposal system, the Totem 60 in stainless steal, combines hygiene with a stylish design and is super kind to the environment.

Simplicity is key. KINTO are fast becoming one of our favourite new finds. They combine practicality with humble, simple designs that are reminiscentĀ of Scandinavian design.
