The Cedar Rooms Restaurant is located in an historic stone building attached to the main hotel. The building was originally occupied by the estate managers, who looked after the land, including the extensive forestry, over its 400-year history. It has now been carefully restored and adapted for its new use.
The restaurant is named after one of the oldest trees on the estate, the magnificent ‘Cedar of Lebanon’ tree planted on the Farnham Lawn which is circa 300 years old. The Cedar Rooms comprises135 seats serving the finest Irish produce in a relaxed and elegant setting, complete with a luxurious lounge area for pre-dinner cocktails overlooking an internal courtyard.
