Web exclusive: Next issue’s Makeover - the before pictures

This room is so spacious but so sparse. While white can be a great background colour, brilliant white can be far from a brilliant choice but leave a very cold effect. This isn't helped by the white bed spread, though the texture in this is very good. On the plus side, the dark wood floor is wonderful, as is the antique-style radiator. The room is crying out for colour, some interest on the walls and a less rigid layout of furniture. Simply placing the chair beside the bed at an angle, rather than so straight and rigid would be a good start. I'm looking forward to seeing the make-over in the next issue.
