We say farewell to the Desperate Housewives

As the hit series comes to an end, the time has come where we have to say farewell to the Desperate Housewives and their beautiful suburban neighbourhood Wisteria Lane. For the past eight years we have followed the lives of the housewives through their deceased friend Mary Alice Young who was the series-long narrator. Their (seemingly) perfect lives captivated audiences all around the world since the very first episode and the show gave suburban life a sexy, exciting and far-from-boring appeal. We all dreamt of living in their beautiful houses on their beautiful lane with our friends living all around us. Gossiping over a white picket fence never looked so glamourous! Their weekly poker games and coffee (gossip) mornings became the envy of many a housewife the world over. We all wished we had a friend like Bree who popped over with a basket of freshly-baked muffins every now and then and we also wished we had Gabrielle's enviable wardrobe and luxurious bath tub. Perfectly manicured lawns, sculpted hedges and an abundance of plants and of course wisteria made this street the dream place to live for many of us. But which of the five original housewives' homes do you prefer?

Is it the charming yellow-painted modest home of Susan Delfino?

The wisteria-covered, green-painted home of Lynette Scavo?

The blue-painted picture-perfect home of Bree Van de Kamp?

The beautiful luxurious home of Gabrielle Solis?

Or the pink-painted former home of Edie Britt?
