A House and Home promotion

A stunning array of Furniture and Decorative Interiors due to hit the auction block at Victor Mee Auctions’ upcoming sale on June 26th

Family-owned-and-operated Irish auction house Victor Mee Auctions has announced its next decorative interiors and garden sale taking place on Wednesday 26th June at their Cavan-based auction house. The sale will showcase a range of decorative interiors and garden furniture sure to be popular amongst many interiors lovers and homeowners. Many pieces of unique decorative furniture and stunning garden pieces will appear in the auction.

Referencing constantly-evolving home décor trends and being inspired by Pinterest boards and other social media trends, the auction house continues to develop their furniture and interiors offering to suit all types of homes and acquired tastes, carrying a range of stately Georgian and Edwardian pieces as well as quirky industrial accents and outstanding pieces from the 20th century.

The next decorative interiors and garden sale will feature a fantastic array of home and garden furniture, decorative ornamental pieces, and rare garden urns. Ahead of the sale, we have picked out six key items not to be missed by decorative interiors lovers!

Venetian Style Designer Mirrors

A pair of Venetian designer mirrors will be up for grabs in Victor Mee Auctions’ Decorative Interiors and Garden Sale. The mirrors are being sold in great condition and will act as extremely unique additions to a statement-making grand entrance or living area within any modern décor home.

Art Deco Club Chairs

The Decorative Interiors and Garden Sale will highlight a range of timeless pieces of leather furniture, with several styles dating from the 19th century to the Art Deco era. This traditional mahogany and leather oxblood revolving desk chair will add sophistication as well as comfort to a work from home office, placed against a modern desktop for a contrasting look or among a backdrop of leather-bound books and dark wooden accents for a rich, traditional look.

Ornate Garden Table and Chairs

As the summer months arrive, Victor Mee Auctions’ Decorative Interiors and Garden Sale will see several eye-catching and interesting furniture pieces hit the auction block, including this beautifully ornate cast iron garden table and chairs set! This set is the perfect size for a conversation area in a conservatory, back garden or urban balcony.

Irish Cut Crystal Chandelier

The eclectic mix of lighting pieces on offer includes this Irish cut crystal twelve branch chandelier, estimated to sell between €800 and €1,600. This piece would be perfect for brightening up an entryway or adding unexpected sparkle to an elegant bedroom, sitting room or bathroom.

Regency Mahogany Cabinet

Traditional mahogany furniture is becoming increasingly popular amongst younger interiors bidders, with these pieces being mixed in with modern soft furnishings, whether they are kept as they are or up styled. This mahogany cabinet standing on squared tapered legs will act as a great restoration project for a more modern décor home and would look great in a bedroom, living room, entry way or even the bathroom.

Bagatelle Sandstone urns

These urns are a French design, originally copied from 18th century bronze urns from Chauteau de Bagatelle owned by the Marquess of Herftford. The original urns now adorn the national trust gardens at Lanhydrock in Cornwall, but these replicas would make a great feature piece in a ‘designer’ garden and are also a very interesting conversation starter!
