Bespoke tables and mosaic metaphors

Bespoke tables and mosaic metaphors

Massage and psycotherapist, Judith Ashton, has taken her interest in the art of healing and transformation of the spirit and put it into designing furniture. Her inspiration stems from her belief that the process of creativity, is the most natural way to de-stress and fall into a meditative state. With this in mind, these mosaic marvels manage to bring about the feeling of peace and calm that went into making them.

Each table uses uplifting and stimulating colours and are made from second hand tables, mirrors and discarded objuects that were past the point of repair. This is not only sustainable design in it’s most attractive form, but a symbol of transformation, time, effort and love, as they have all become objects of beauty and value.

Judith has a wonderful selection of coloured Italian and Spanish tiles, which she also uses for private commissions that are tailor made to suit the style and décor of the customer. We think these tables would be a colourful burst to any garden patio’s or conservatory, while making a sidetable statement in your living room.

The pieces can be viewed at the Blue Room meditation and healing centre, Bennettsbridge, Co. Kilkenny or call Judith at 056 772 4007
