If you missed the Creme Egg Cafe last year, you're in luck. We have eggcelent news - it's coming back.
Next week, from Monday February 27th to Saturday March 4th, The Cadbury Creme Egg Hunting Lodge will open for business in Lock 6 on the Canal Road. Each evening, they will be opening at 6.30pm, while on the Saturday, it will be an earlier 2.30pm opening.
This year, there's a hunting and camping theme, and they've rejigged the menu to match. There's a three-course Creme Egg feast, featuring gooey Creme Egg S'mores, Creme Egg hot chocolate, Creme Egg Forest Fridge Cake, and a Black Forest Gateau spin on last year's Creme Egg toastie.
No, we're not yolking (sorry)! However, tickets are limited so you'll need to move fast if you want in on the Creme Egg goodness. Tickets are free, but you need to book in advance on Eventbrite. On the day, you'll be able to make a donation to the Irish mental health charity Aware.
