A House and Home promotion

Guests had the chance to enjoy the delicious Asian-inspired bites alongside their tipple of choice as they enjoyed a wander around the DFS store. We didn't meet anyone who didn't come away with some top picks for their next sofa purchase, whether one of the more traditional stylish leather couch options or from the bold and brilliant Joules collection that was the centre of attention for the evening!
The stage was set with the yellow velvet Chesterfield-style Windsor couch (€1,819) from the Joules range, which is exclusive to DFS, and is the one Joanne actually has in her living room. The pink cotton Cambridge three seater sofa bed (€1,919) - a pull out version of the two seater pink velvet Cambridge sofa in Catherine's living room - was just off stage, showcasing some of the colourful options within the Joules range.
House and Home's Editorial Director Kirstie McDermott hosted the panel with our Instagram stars, and Catherine and Joanne didn't disappoint. Full of advice, tips and tricks on everything from buying a sofa, to taking decor inspo from your wardrobe, to upcycling and DIY step by steps, to shopping your own home, and everything in between. You can catch some snippets from the discussion in the highlight on our Instagram!
To close out the night, Aishling Cronin was the lucky winner who took home a €1,000 voucher for DFS as part of a charity raffle in aid of Hugh’s House, who provide family accommodation for parents who have ill children in Temple Street, Holles Street, The Coombe and Rotunda Hospitals, and everyone left with a goodie bag filled with a gift from Joules, a copy of the latest issue of House and Home, and a tip sheet from our panellists featuring advice for upcycling, curating a colour-filled home and buying the dream sofa.
If you weren't lucky enough to get tickets to our DFS event, you can see all the tips and advice from the tip sheet here!
