Dublin Flea's Christmas Cracker

With over 120 stalls in Smithfield Square, this year's Christmas market promises to be the biggest and best yet! Each year, the main aim of the market is to promote and support local Irish businesses. And this year is no exception, with even more emphasis on small businesses and creative companies it'll be jam-packed full of bargains and offering something different to fill those Christmas stockings.

Running over the 10th and 11th of December, Bock T will showcase up to 30 local artists selling their work at very affordable prices. Always fancied a noisy mooch around an artist's work place? Then you're in luck as 15 resident artists will also open up their studios for the weekend, allowing you to have a goo at works in progress.

While Block B will play host to up to an impressive 90 stalls. You can expect bric-a-brac, clothes, furniture and trinkets. And spread some Christmas cheer by bringing a present for underneath the onsite Christmas tree in aid of a local children's charity. There'll also be Christmas trees for sale right outside both locations along with food, drink and music.

What's more, the regular flea market will take place at Newmarket in Dublin 8 on the 18th of December. So that gives all of those Johnny come lately's another opportunity to find original, quirky gifts.
