Homebase is getting a facelift and we were lucky enough to get a sneak peak at what’s to come. Their concept store is located in Aylesford, Kent and this is where Homebase is trialling their latest thinking, which is to roll out throughout the UK and Ireland in the coming years.
An emphasis has been placed on decorating while making it as easy as possible for customers to pull looks together, through room sets and visual get the look cards.
One notable innovation is the decorating centre; a central hub where customers ideas and inspirations come together, with the aid of touch screen technology and helpful staff. Also, the German Odina range will be a revolutionary development in the world of kitchens and expect to see this in stores across Ireland within the next two years.
