If you’re looking for some inspiration in the run up to the festive season, Meubles is hosting a Christmas Shopping experience this Friday the 25th of November. The event will see their shop located in Kilkenny Retail Park transform into a winter wonderland full of Christmas glamour, style and sparkle.
The event is the perfect excuse for a night out, aswell as an opportunity to find some Christmas inspiration. You’ll get a first look at the new range of Meubles seasonal gift ideas and will also be joined by some very special guests.
The people at the Meubles Design Centre will be providing workshops on dressing your home for Christmas, from wreath making demonstrations to tutorials on how to revamp your room on a budget (with thanks to Scatterbox Interiors). Interior designer Breda Malone will also be there on the night giving interior style consultations.
So there’ll be something for everybody at the event… and everybody’s wardrobe. Meubles has a Ladies Style Hall in which Style Consultant Liz Maher will offer hints and tips for creating the perfect capsule wardrobe for the party season. Pop up shops from local boutiques such as Jo Duggan, Mimi’s, Peaches and Lola Rose will help you complete the look.
Meubles is also a great place to go for festive food. Both experienced and novice chefs will be able to avail of events like cake decorating demonstrations from Maria’s Cakes, advice on choosing the perfect tableware and gluten free treats and tips from Mary Doherty, who specialises in Gluten free bakery.
You’ll also have the chance to participate in a fundraising effort on the night - The Great Irish Bake is something Meubles is calling all home bakers to get involved in. Entry is only €10, with all proceeds going directly to Temple Street Children’s Hospital. Be sure to pick up an entry form in store and bake up a storm for a great cause.
