What is it?

99 Harbour View is a super stylish pad with a stunning sea view in the marine mecca of Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin

The Spec

This fourth floor abode is located in a high spec apartment complex adjacent to Dun Laoghaire Harbour and Town Centre. Inside this interior designed apartment you will find three good sized double bedrooms, with one set up as a spacious office. The master bedroom has ensuite facilities, along with benefiting from a generous en- suite and walk in storage room. The large open plan living/ dining room makes best use of the floor to ceiling windows which engulf the spaces in natural daylight, while at night providing a spectacular night time view out as far as Howth head. The modern kitchen is fitted with cream gloss units and comes complete with a breakfast counter. An eight metre glass balcony surrounds the front of the property, giving the main reception room and two bedrooms the option to literally open out. While the glass ensures the view is not interrupted.

Why we love it?

It is the location that first caught our eye with this contemporary crib. Harbour view comes with a location that is of unparalleled convinience, opposite the DART station and close to bus stops adjacent to the seafront- making this apartment super accessible for city centre commuters. It is also ideal for those with a love of the open seas as the yacht clubs and piers are literally on the doorstep. Inside we heart the way it has been stylishly decorated throughout creating a home of pure luxury and comfort while also managing to enhance those views.

Steal the style…

Each room in this apartment has been designed to a high standard and even with the professional touch, it has a lived in feel. Considering its location, there is very little reference to the surrounds apart from the odd splash of green and cream. This further enhances the family home vibe you get from the interior layout and furnishing. Warm tones of coffee browns and greyish blacks give these rooms more definition, plus the living/ dining space is uber modern with Roccoco elements. The office space is interesting with its all white basis and subtle additions of black. The key to pulling this monochromatic scheme together is to take inspiration from a focal point/ statement in the room- which in this case is the Zebra print. Eventhough the rest of the room is kept quite minimalist, a piece of art like this instantly livens up a space. The vertical radiator is a clever design trick that visually gives height to a room. It is also great for smaller spaces where a traditional radiator might not fit.
