Emily Blunt and John Krasinski are one of our favourite Hollywood power couples, and they've just bought a new home. The pair, who have recently welcomed their second daughter, Violet, to the family, this year sold their LA home to Kendall Jenner for $8.5 million, and upped sticks to New York.

Their Park Slope townhouse has six bedrooms, three full and two half bathrooms, three stories, a collection of fireplaces, and "museum-quality" details. They've already spent a reported $395,000 on revonations for the 4,400-square-foot Brooklyn base, that was first built in 1909.

Designed by esteemed architect Arthur R. Koch, the property still has well-preserved architectural details like inlaid parquet floors, plaster moldings and elegantly carved fireplaces.

On entry, a triple parlour stretches more than 50 feet long when the original pocket doors separating the rooms are open. The adjoining mahogany-panelled dining room includes a carved wood mantelpiece and the expensively kitted out kitchen features a taupe-toned granite counter top with simple white Shaker-style presses, and a gorgeous bay window. A glass door leads to an L-shaped back garden.

Bedrooms are spread across the upper floors and the basement, with the listing detailing a "movie-theatre room" in the basement as well.

Two of their three Californian homes have been sold over the past year, while their getaway in Ojai, California is still on sale for $3.25 million.
