Is there a day that goes by at this time of year where you're not sat dreaming about where you want to go on your holidays? We're pretty sure that's normal, and we're most definitely in the same boat.

A look around Airbnbs can be great for some inspiration, and you're sure to find somewhere interesting to stay if a standard hotel isn't what you're feeling. Airbnb post some of the coolest properties they have on their own Instagram, and these are the top nine Airbnbs that caught people's attention the most last year. Like 45,000+ likes, sort of attention.

And the best part is, all of the houses featured are available to stay in, so click through, find your favourite and pick a date. Pay day must be coming up soon, right?

9 most popular AirBnbs according to Instagram

1. Tye Haus

This A-frame cabin is Tye Haus in Skykomish, Washington in America. It's located near a ski resort and some hiking routes, or there's always their Netflix enabled television if that snow looks like perfect cosying up weather.

From €143 per night.

2. Honeymoon House

Brenna's furry pal might be the source of some of the likes on this one, but that view of Minnesota is pretty sweet too. The house looks over Lake Superior, and sleeps 8 people, even if the name suggests it'd be a more intimate retreat.

From €569 per night.

3. Anastasia

Planning a trip to Mexico? Tulum is a popular destination on Instagram, and this Airbnb is in a new apartment block in the heart of the city. Feng shui'd to the hilt, there's a pool and balconies for the ultimate relaxing vacay.

From €65 per night.

4. In-town treehouse

Treehouse in the city? Sounds ideal to us. Located in Memorial Park in Atlanta city, it's separated into three areas - Mind, Body and Spirit.

From €316 per night.

5. Vondel House

This house in Amsterdam looks like it would be delightful on a sunny day, with sunlight coming through this area of the house. Located just by Vondelpark, it sleeps four and seems perfectly located for exploring the city by foot or bike.

From €229 per night.

6. Paris apartment

A cosy, charming Parisian apartment that looks out at Montmartre and Sacré-Cœur - can't ask for much better than that!

From €110 per night.

7. Cliff house

You can't see it in this pic, but apparently you can look out and often see whales and dolphins swimming in the sea outside this house in Mollymook in New South Wales, Australia. A few days chilling and watching dolphins from your balcony over the sea sounds pretty sweet to us.

8. Secluded treehouse... again

The Atlanta treehouse from earlier in this list appeared again, but is it any surprise really? Just look at it!

From €316 per night.

9. Cape Town Penthouse

If you're not sold by that incredible view from the pool on the roof of this penthouse, the balcony and crazy glass floor might make this one worth the stay in Cape Town.
From €137 per night.
