Most Instagrammable Celebrity Homes

By Louise Dockery 27-05-2021

If the COVID-19 pandemic has been good for anything, it's been for GREAT for nosying into famous people's houses! With so many celebs doing interviews from home as opposed to a traditional studio, we've gotten to see who has the fanciest wallpaper, or who displays their kids' questionable artwork on the fridge.

So, we decided to follow up on those observations and check in to see who's sharing what on Instagram. And honestly, with homes like these, we don't know why they're not flooding their feeds.

Here are some of our faves.

Florence Welsh

Style icon and Florence and the Machine frontwoman, Florence Welsh's London home is unsurprisingly filled with an eclectic collection of antiques and oddities. Very granny chic. If your granny was into astrology and incense.

Selena Gomez

The LA-based singer, actress and businesswoman has revealed that she spent lockdown with her Texan grandparents. No doubt they loved the décor of her Californian home. The combination of rustic beams, floral wallpaper and jewel-toned velvet create a nostalgic atmosphere. Perfect for a music room and perfect for grandparents.

Amy Huberman and Brian O'Driscoll

Actress and rugby-playing power couple keep their fans (ie. pretty much everyone in Ireland!) entertained with their hilarious takes on lockdown life. But what was just as exciting to us interior-obsessives is the super cute interiors in their Dublin home. The patterned wallpaper in one room is equally as charming as the gallery wall in the other. Shout-out to Amy for letting us see the two in one pic!

Ina Garten

The queen of fancy-casual nailed her Hamptons outdoor seating area. The combination of a cushy (presumably weatherproof) fabric sofa and wicker and industrial style chairs creates a nice high-low vibe. Now that outdoor entertaining is more common in Ireland than ever, we're totally taking notes.

Jesse Tyler Ferguson

The beloved Modern Family actor and husband Justin Mikita recently sold this home to Leonardo DiCaprio. But under their ownership, the Los Feliz home was a stunningly curated celebration of art, antiques and fun. The dark walls offset the various styles of art perfectly.

Kacey Musgraves

The quirky country singer appears to have sought out a calm, neutral setting to call home. This is a far cry from her signature bedazzled, bold stage style. But, given that she has tagged her home as the "Zen Den", this contrast was probably intentional.

Lily Aldridge and Caleb Followill

The Nashville-based couple decorated their daughter's room in collaboration with American homeware franchise, Restoration Hardware. The result is a sweet, whimsical vibe that can easily grow with the child. The brass bed and dark colours are also representative of supermodel mum and Kings of Leon dad's coolness. Lucky kids, eh!

Ashley Tisdale

The High School Musical star has grown up and, by the looks of her LA home, has impeccable taste. Ashley enlisted the help of interior design team Pierce and Ward to complete her living room. The subtlety of the muted tones, patinaed pots and curved ceilings creates a super relaxing atmosphere.

Rainn Wilson

Who would've thought that Dwight from The Office would actually have a very sophisticated and stylish home?! And not a beet in sight!

Troye Sivan

The Australian singer moved into his Melbourne home as the rest of the world fell into the COVID crisis. The renovated Victorian brick factory is now a very cool mix of mid-century furniture and general coolness.

Kate Hudson

Actress Kate Hudson leaned into her ultra-feminine side when it came to decorating her bathroom. The floral wallpaper, antique light fixture and fluffed window treatment is just the right amount of Disney Princess.

Halsey

Musican Halsey proudly displays her collection of kitch alongside her growing number of awards. The multi-tiered floating shelving is an interesting alternative to a regular shelving structure.

Victoria and David Beckham

The uber-stylish family appear to have a home that's as fab as their fashion sense. We don't know what we love more- the charcoal ceiling or the star-shaped parquet flooring.

Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik

The Roche Bobois sofa and funky accessories and bright are representative of the couple's youthful style. A sterile, soulless apartment this is not!

Taylor Swift

Pictured here with fellow Tennessean, singer Kelsea Ballerini, Taylor seems to have a window seat big enough for two. This little nook is a good example of mixed fabrics working beautifully together. To see the rest of this Beverly Hills cottage, see our tour here.
