A couple of weeks ago I was heading into the South William St. entrance of the Powerscourt Townhouse Centre and was greeted by a brand new flower shop. Simply called "The Garden", this shop was opened recently by award winning landscape designer and florist, Mark Grehan. Mark traded on Coppinger Row Market every Thursday for the last year and during this time he noticed a huge interest from people wanting to find and grow their own flowers and plants - so he came up with the idea of "The Garden": a trendy little flower shop providing wide selection and variety of beautiful plants and flowers. Mark's talent and design background are immediately obvious when visiting the store and checking out the wares - he uses lots of foliage and twigs with hand ties to create unique arrangements inspired by nature.
