This unbelievably cool apartment in Kharkov, Ukraine, just begs you to become a kid again. When designers, Ki Design, were asked to create something that would make guests go "wow", a slide may have been the last thing on the homeowners' minds. This 2,282 sq ft home is located on the top two floors of a building that dates back to 1917. The slide, that connects the two levels, is certainly the show stopper in this apartment, but a closer look will reveal many more genius features – the living wall in the kitchen, a playful hammock in the lounge, even the well thought out wooden bench by the windows creates a reading nook suitable for more than one person– perfection.
The top floor location calls for superb skylights that allow natural daylight to flood the space.
Note the hexagonal theme throughout these two bathrooms. The basins, along with the beautifully sleek, black taps and radiators complement the natural wood and greenery to a tee. We are obsessed!
