Two City Spaces Reimagined by Celebrated Interior Designer

Interior designer Małgorzata Wojdal of Lilla Home renovates serene spaces where stillness, light, and intention lead the way.

We were invited to see how this revered designer transformed two once-overlooked apartments into soulful sanctuaries.

Guided by natural materials, tactile detail and a deep sensitivity to light, Wojdal shows how to reimagine city living as an experience of quiet luxury and meaningful design.

ELEVATED CALM

Bathed in natural light and perched above the city, this attic apartment is more than just a stylish retreat - it’s a sanctuary for the senses. Guided by minimalist principles and designed with wellbeing in mind, the renovation celebrates space, simplicity, and the quiet power of intentional living.

THE SPACE

Located in a 1936 townhouse next to a park, this 58m2 attic straddles a unique threshold - vibrant city life on one side and a quiet villa district on the other. “I tend to seek out places with soul - often forgotten, overlooked, immersed in the silence of history - and give them a new narrative,” explains interior designer Małgorzata Wojdal.

ZEN

In a fast-paced urban world, calm is the new luxury. This serene apartment channels the essence of Zen design - minimalism, natural materials and intentional spaces  - and shows how light and layout can transform a space into a daily escape.

THE SPACE

The 89m² apartment in a historic townhouse in the city centre was designed with harmony in mind -  between function and form, between the past and a contemporary aesthetic, inspired by Zen with subtle Japandi touches. “I wanted to create a space that soothes the senses, embraces with light and invites you to live at a slow rhythm,” says Polish interior designer Małgorzata Wojdal.
