From 16th - 19th June, the Iveagh Gardens will transform into the ultimate foodie destination for four days of summer eating, drinking and entertainment as Taste of Dublin 2016, sponsored by Electrolux returns. Due to popular demand the Electrolux Chef's Secrets is back and has doubled in size. The popular interactive feature offers visitors the unique opportunity to pick up hints, tips and techniques from some of the world’s leading chefs in a series of interactive cooking demonstrations.
This year, visitors will also get to check out the latest ‘homecoming’ talent at the Electrolux Taste Theatre. Chefs such as Washington-based, Cathal Armstrong, Anna Haugh, Gordon Ramsay’s former Head Chef, the critically acclaimed Robin Gill, US celebrity TV chef, 'Chef Stuart', Stuart O’Keeffe and London-based, 'Lazy Chef' Simon Lamont will be hosting live cooking demos where foodie fans can pick up new cooking skills, discover and share new secrets all whilst learning from the best.
For the real food enthusiasts, Electrolux will be showcasing their new SousVide Combi Steam Oven, which takes steam cooking to the next level. Sous-vide, which means ‘under vacuum’ in French, provides a cooking environment like no other; an environment where flavours and textures can flourish for truly melt-in-the-mouth results. The use of slow and low-temperature steam cooking then allows intense flavours and aromas to develop.
You and a friend could be cooking alongside some of your favourite guest chefs, picking up tips and tricks and getting hands on with some of the latest steam and induction technology from Electrolux. Entering couldn't be any easier, simply tell us who you would bring with you!
