Competition: Win a Dyson Lightcycle lamp!

The light of where you are.

This time last year, we could’ve never envisaged that so many of us would be working from home, and well into our third national lockdown. We’ve surprised ourselves with how well we have made the best of it; sprucing up our homes to make them a welcoming, functional space to spend almost all day everyday in.

As a little treat, we’re giving away one of Dyson’s Lightcycle™ Morph lamps worth a whopping €549.99.

In line with the concept of this lamp’s intelligent engineering, we’re encouraging you to capture the light of where you are. This lamp not only regulates blue light, helps to reduce eye strain and works as a sunrise alarm clock- all of which make it the ideal WFH desk buddy- but it adapts to your location. The technology used tracks the time of day, ambient and the natural light wherever you are in the world. This helps it recognise exactly how much and what type of light you need. Put simply, it meets the light of where you are.

The adaptable design allows the lamp to be used as a task lamp, or indirect, feature or ambient light. This means that even if your “desk space” is more like a kitchen table, couch or even bed (hey, we’re not judging!), you can position it to suit your ergonomics.

To win, simply post a picture on your Instagram grid with our March/ April issue of House and Home magazine marking the spot you’d place your Lightcycle lamp in. This could be your home office, or even your beside table. We’d love to see your spaces, and where you’ve been spending the most time.

To be in with a chance to win, follow and tag both @houseandhomemagazine and @dyson in your post, and use the hashtag #thelightofwhereyouare. We’re running this competition for the Lightcycle throughout the entire lifecycle (pun not intended!) of the March-April issue. We will be announcing a winner on Friday the 30th of April 2021.
